Hello and welcome to Inklings Anonymous, the part of my blog where I point the canned air on the dirty parts of our keyboards where the bad writing habits live.

For those of you who frequent this blog, you’ll notice this area is new. For those of you who don’t, you probably won’t notice anything at all. I’m sneaky like that.

Inklings Anonymous is a bit of an advice column for the do’s and dont’s of writing. Each post will feature things I’ve noticed in the books I’ve worked on through various publishing companies and freelance editing.

Learn tips, tricks, and suggestions for cleaning up your writing from someone who does it professionally (and still manages to mess things up from time to time). This segment is meant to highlight common problems writers face when creating novels, so if there’s anything you’ve been interested to find out about from an editor, please let me know.
